Imparting the Blessing

Children are a heritage from the Lord. In fact, every covenant the Lord made included the promise of children. Not only are they a gift, they are evidence of His promise!

In this week's resource, Imparting the Blessing, author William Lignon provides a scripture study on the Jewish practice of blessing children. It is a wonderful look at the power of our words and speaking blessing.

When I served as Children's Director, I always said that children are the most important ministry in the church. I believed that before I worked in children's -  and will continue to say so! We have no greater responsibility than stewarding our children. Because when we steward our children, we are stewarding God's promise.
